Thomaz Kastrup

Thomaz is a lawyer, partner at Mattos Filho Advogados, and holds a Masters in Law (LL.M) from Columbia University, where he was named Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He works in the insurance, reinsurance and private pension industries, advising clients on corporate and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), purchase and sale of portfolios and other assets involving various players in this industry, formation of joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and distribution contracts for insurance products (bancassurance). In this capacity, he was involved in the main operations of this nature that took place in Brazil.
