Edson Franco

Edson has more than 25 years of experience in Insurance and Private Pensions, and Institutions
financial. He is currently the CEO of Zurich Brazil.
During his 10-year tenure at the Zurich Group, Edson was also CEO of Zurich-Santander
Brazil and Latin America Regional CEO for Life.
Before working for Zurich, Edson also worked at ABN Amro Real Bank (CTO and Director
Real Seguros Life and Pension Plan); Tokio Marine (CEO of Real-Tokio Marine Vida and
Pension Plan) and Banco Santander Brasil.
– President of ABCSI (Brazilian Association of International Insurance Companies) of
February 2019 to February 2022
– Member of the management committee / Member of the advisory committee of CNSeg (National Confederation
of Insurers)
– Current president of Fenaprevi (National Federation of Private Pensions and Life), management
2022-2025. He has presided over the entity in the 2016-2019 term.
Edson holds a degree in Business Administration from FASP and an MBA (CEAG) from
Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) of São Paulo.
